The Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) course, offers study credits through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), transferring formal qualifications in recognition of the skills you have already gained through your life, work and other study.
Depending on your background, if you have more than two years full-time experience, through RPL, full qualifications can be gained in under thirteen weeks. Enrollments are taken on an ongoing basis. MIBT will appoint a specialist Trainer / Assessor, that will work with you to guide and assist as you gather the skills and evidence required. Your Trainer will come to you to assess your work and document any RPL, credit transfer or completion of all course units required for full Diploma of Building and Construction qualifications. MIBT will provide any skills gap training if required.
Building and Construction Industry Training is subsidised through State Government Training Programs. Eligibility may vary between States. As a general guide, for subsidised training you need to be:
- 15 years old or over; The following Qualification Costs apply, unless you are a Fee Free Apprentice, or your fees are exempt for other reasons;
